Reactionary

I wish I had taken an “undercover” camera, by which I mean one that weighs less than 3 lbs and doesn’t cost an entire month’s rent. Due to its weight, I left the camera home about half the time. How could I carry shopping bags or carry a cute purse if I didn’t. Due to its value, I took pictures only in heavily touristed areas to avoid attracting too much attention. The last factor was the rain. Three days in 18 of rain isn’t much, but those were three days not a single picture was taken just because of the weather. Though this is probably only a small sample of the city, it doesn’t mask its ridiculous beauty. Unfortunately, it does dull some of its character and I’m sorry about that.
