Retro
Retro is in.
From clean Scandinavian design to bright oranges and greens to old Julio Iglesias tunes, retro is in. If we’re indeed headed back into a new Dark Ages, I’m taking some of my favorites with me. I like the cleaner lines of things you’d see at IKEA (or at least what IKEA tries to emulate); I just picked up yet more paint swatches at my local Benjamin Moore reseller; and I just downloaded an old Julio Iglesias album. I’m not all sold on this 60′s resurgence, though, since none of the chairs even look comfortable and what good’s a reading chair it it’s painful to sit for long. But I’m muddling along on my own fatigue recovery though today I nearly collapsed I was so tired. I hate when the room spins. I’ve ceased and desisted from reading the NYT today since the news bleeds a darker shade of red every day. I pass shuttered shops and take deep breaths. I went to a pilates class today. I ate a cupcake. I love “Dejala”.
Slowly, slowly.
This post makes no sense to the outside world. Maybe someday I’ll return to being readable. I’m not there yet.
