Reactionary

Yeah, the new man in my life. My realtor. Who did you think it was? Tall, dark, gorgeous and Canadian?!

I’ve done everything I said I’d do. I have my list (though one property has been pulled). I’ve read my book and paperwork. The pre-approval letter is in his office and I’ve spoken to another mortgage person just to have someone else to go to. It’ll be August soon, so now it really begins. It’ll happen fast.

Next week’s agenda involves finding a closing agent and a home inspector. My duty at work tomorrow is to milk my friends for more information and names and numbers and most importantly where the rumored housing projects are.

I walked home via Graduate today and people were out walking around after the shops closed. It’s a nice day and it was a great relatively cool afternoon. But I’ve decided I don’t want to live there unless I can’t find something anywhere else. It’s really much too far from everything and would require too many sacrifices on my part and the prices really aren’t all that much better than better-connected neighborhoods.
