Ridikulous!
One only need pick up the paper (any one will do) to have one’s faith in humanity quashed or renewed with amazing rapidity, sometimes all on the same page.
My favorite nugget today as I sat in a Center City coffee shop was provided courtesy of the Washington Post. So let me get this straight: Blind people now want to see the exhibits… Where does a public place of business’ responsibility end? Nowhere, clearly.
Ridikulous!
Obama clinches the nomination. Though I didn’t vote him in the primary (I voted for no one since it was a closed primary) and was less than overwhelmed with the whole thing, I wish him well and will continue to stand and watch. I still think his health plan needs to be rethought. You must mandate. Saying insurance can be made “affordable” is ridikulous! You must mandate or health care reform will never get off the ground.
I also read a nugget in the Metro today that poses the possibility of airlines charging passengers for their own body weight. I’m sure people will be up in arms if it came to that but for those of us unfortunate enough to have had to sit next to a fat roll on the armrest, we know that THAT is RIDIKULOUS!
