The End of October

Among horse-drawn buggies and fields full of cows and dried up corn husks, I managed to find a tree with radient leaves. They’re very few and far between this year. I also managed to trip, tear my pants, scuff my Italian shoes, bruise a knee, but I saved the camera.

Vive La France

From the New York Times:

To the Editor:
It isn’t enough that Americans are now routinely working 14-hour days, that no one cooks a real dinner anymore, that kids and parents stand around eating takeout in the kitchen at 10 p.m., that dinnertime conversation is dead, that the two-week family vacation is a thing of the past? [...]

Radiohead Flips Off The RIAA

And love is blind
The sun is gone
Before it shines
And I said if the answer is no
Can I change your mind

Usually [...]

Get Over It

I’ve had it up to here with nerds who insist on hacking iPhones for their own perverted purposes and then complain when the company who makes them tries to clamp down on the madness. I don’t use my television to mow my lawn, people. Stop crying foul, drama queens.
The whole outcry reminds me of the [...]

I Can’t Believe It’s October

And the list of things annoying me are:
1. The merciless heat: Why do I have the air on in October? Why am I not being allowed to don my trenches and tweed and sky high pumps? Why am I still in sandals? It’s October! I’m just glad to hear snow’s falling in the Rockies, otherwise [...]
