A New Resolution

A new Lush opened just a few blocks away from my apartment. I had never gone in there until this past Saturday when the sun was shining and the possibilities were endless. Apparently, Lush makes what they call “bath bombs” which are like those pathetic little bath cubes I used to think were so cool but not at all like those pathetic little cubes I used to think were so cool. They’re the Era of the Have-More version of those little cubes. I bought two to try them out.

The one I’ve used goes by the name Big Blue and it makes your bath water as completely blue as the waters of the Mediterranean and smells like what the Mediterranean would be like in an alternate reality without the sewage and litter and African refugees. I didn’t really expect the water to get that blue, but it does and miraculously the color doesn’t stick to you. I also bought another bath bomb, a green one. I’m saving it for that green holiday coming up. I vow to take more baths. I used to, but lately I’ve been too tired to bother filling the tub. Showers are faster. But baths are a stress reliever so I should pursue it, especially since one of my unofficial New Year’s resolutions was to balance out the stress of work as much as possible.

Q&A: Why did they have the St. Patrick’s Day parade this past Sunday? Why? It totally threw me off, what with the time change and all.

Lush rule!! I loooove their stuff!! I normally never use soap (as in bars of it, y’all), but someone gave me Christmassy bars of soap from Lush, and it was amazing. Didn’t dry my skin out or anything.
