Reactionary

It was nearing 230PM today and my room had been down for half an hour when I was paged. Immediately, all sorts of horrible scenarios came into my head. I would be asked to gather charge sheets. I would be asked to take over for someone else in a room. I would be asked to help someone get a case started. Etc etc etc.

But it was actually the best page ever. I was asked if I wanted Thursday off. Not being mentally deficient, I said yes. Now I have a day off I hadn’t foreseen and I have no clue what I’ll do for it. It would have been nicer to have Friday off and with the holiday Monday, have four days off. But I’m not one to ask why when good things happen to me so I took it. I’m torn between shopping, going to the spa, going to the movies, sleeping all day. Of course I’ll be happy to do any one of these things after I go the gym in the morning, since I haven’t done that in eons.
