Blackberry
I’m in the midst of self-pity. It’s been going on for a while now. Whenever I’m in such a midst, I have a tendency to buy things… a lot of things. I was just on the phone with a friend and we both happen to have Motorola Razrs. She was saying something about the phone’s well-known battery problems. After I hung up with her, what did I do? Jumped online to look at new phones. Cingular says I may be able to upgrade 12/27/06 for a new phone. I love the Blackberrys, especially the so-called Pearl because it’s small and doubly-especially because there was a note on Blackberry’s website about the Mac version of the software being able to sync the phone with existing Mac apps like iCal and Address Book. That would be awesome. I haven’t synced my Razr with my Mac in a while, Last time I did it, I deleted the entire database of Address Book’s. Good thing I had a backup or else heads would have rolled. Things have to be designed to be compatible, otherwise, it’s a mess.
A Blackberry is probably too much phone for me but iCal syncing alone would make it worth the price. I love my iPod, but it would be nice if the phone would also sync with the Mac as well. iPods don’t have keyboards hence their beauty and hence their inability to write in a new note in iCal for you. I’ll think about it.
Now, I’m off to buy a gift certificate. Ciao.
