Schwarzenegger and Blair go over Bush’s head and it’s about time someone did.

This administration’s cavalier attitude about the environment and curbing greenhouse gases is both fatal and idiotic. Usually those two things go hand in hand. It’s about time Bush’s foreign lapdog and the governor of the wealthiest state meet on their own on this crucial issue and do what Bush et al won’t. I don’t know the specifics of the discussions but the headline is enough. We can only hope there will be more and more that will step out from under the code of silence and say something on their own. It’s about time someone other than comedians step out of line and into reality. What kind of a world do we live in when comedians are being asked to do the job no one in power will.

Check out this quote: “We see that there is not great leadership from the federal government when it comes to protecting the environment,” Schwarzenegger said. “We know there is global warming, so we should stop it.” There is no great leadership from the federal government! Drop the “great” and it’s right on. I never considered Schwarzenegger seriously. That’s a nice beginning.
