The Day Off
This has been the best day off in a long time. Two great World Cup games (PORT v. MEX and ARG v. NED) have made for entertainment. Fork supplies a great lunch (duck confit salad and an almond tart with some Spanish rose’ wine), and I’ve found a spa for great massages. I also shopped at used book store The Book Trader. It had been a while since I was in Old City. The weather’s hot today, but dry and it’s a nice June day and the best day off in ages (and probably the last as well since the inception of the weekend program at work will make these a thing of the past).
I also got a UV filter for my new wide angle lens.
