iPods Are NOT Vanilla!
It bothers me whenever people call them that! Like this moron in this post. Can’t people just say “white”? Why are they so desperate to use other words to force a semblance of literacy? It makes it worse then the new word doesn’t fit. A vanilla white has an obvious yellow undertone after it’s namesake, the brown bean or extract. The white Apple uses for its iPods and computers has a cool, blue undertone, nothing like the warm look of something vanilla.
It wouldn’t bother me so much if it wasn’t done by someone who is passing themselves off as some kind of a computing guru.
Yet another one of the things that really tick me off.
