Show Day

We never did find a ticket for the kid when it would have been relevant. I knew when it came to Day of Show, it would be harder to get it all to work, given the logistics. A sarcastic thanks to all the ticket ads I answered. I wouldn’t have killed you to e-mail back if only to say you had made a deal elsewhere. People are such rude bastards.

The people I gave those general admission tickets to are outside the pit, three rows back from Edge’s side. Didn’t they know about Adam’s side blowing Edge’s to hell this tour? Maybe I forgot to tell them. I’ve been so stressed out for them because they’re two small girls who don’t know about hard core concert going and if I can do anything to help them avoid what happened to a friend and I in London, I’ve been prepared to do it.

I hope they have a good show and I hope they like what they see and hear and if it comes halfway to explaining what it is I see, then it’s all worth it. They sound happy enough with their spots. They’re new concert goers and aren’t jaded and spoiled like those self-described “real” fans. I’m a bit miffed about the Delta Center handing out line tickets and not telling anyone about it. I didn’t know and apparently neither did all the websites I read. It isn’t even on the Delta Center’s website. Damn them. Oh, well. What’s done is done and U2’s on stage in Salt Lake City and hopefully, everyone will have a good time and standing outside in the cold will have been worth it.
