Reactionary

There are people like this in every work environment, I’m sure, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. I hate when I run around all day trying to get things at work and some people sit around on the computer and on the phone. And when you do something, they say something like, “Oh, I was going to do that.” When? The next millenium? So you say you intended to get it done but it wasn’t done, was it, until I did because I felt I had to because you were sitting there e-mailing people and talking about your personal life when there’s work to be done! And I don’t mean you have to be miserable and over zealous at work, but let’s not sit around here either. If I get snippy later on in the day, I’m sorry, but having to work twice as hard as I should all day makes me that way sometimes. And it’s only certain people, but it’s enough to make me exhausted and burnt out by the end of the day.

When you’re at work, be at work, people. Maybe you need to take a real vacation instead of going down to the beach for the weekend.
