Just Say “No”
Dear Apple, thank you for everything you’ve done and keep on doing for the public though it isn’t always acknowledged. Thanks for making ideas come first, not money. Thanks for the attention to detail and quality and for not ignoring the simple fact that consumer computers need to look good in designer flats as well as someone’s modest living room. Thanks for not ramming mediocrity down our throats. Thanks for surviving when everyone had buried you.
But now the RIAA’s putting the pressure on to change the prices on iTunes. Don’t give in! Don’t let them kill your invention. Keep saying no to these people whose only talent appears to be grabbing cash and calling their lawyers. Please keep saying NO and thank you for everything you’ve done. Most people don’t know or notice that their lives are the way they are because Jobs and Co. invented them. But some do and on their behalf, I thank you.
Dear Joe Public, don’t let this happen by your silence. Get off the couch and write a letter or a post or even make a phone call. You have no right to complain if you do nothing about it.
