The Tug of War Continues
Now they’re taking that “intelligent design” thing to court, there was yet another good letter in the paper today. Someone whose name I forgot hit it on the head. She said people who have this need to have this “intelligent design” theory forced through as science also have some deep emotional need to have the divine in their DNA. Exactly. What is this need, this bizarre, arrogant need to have it announced that God made you (as perfect as you are) at the cost of all scientific advancements?
I know I’ve already said a lot about this but I can’t believe this is being taken seriously!
And now Bush is nominating someone for Justice Sandra O’Connor’s seat who isn’t even a judge at all. Just a Bush yes-man. Tocqueville said it. People get the kind of government they deserve.
