And took the DSL with it. Granted, this Earthlink connection has always been iffy. It took an in-person visit by a Covad guy to get it working in the first place. Now all my shuffling components around while trying to fix the Airport network has made the modem drop the DSL connection and not pick it back up even after hard resets and unplugs. I’m too tired to really act furiously. i haven’t wept or thrown anything across the room yet.

It seems like it isn’t a rare problem, though. A lot of people are posting about it at Apple’s discussion forums. Before fixing that now, though, I have to get the DSL signal back. Life stinks. And I had been planning to update the website this weekend, finally. With the slow dialup I’m being forced to use now, I won’t be able to fix anything beyond text files and will be charged for anything over 20 hours this month.
