Coming Down
How do you do it? How do you come down after being so high and not trip in the process? I’m trying to handle it by creating other things to be excited about. It was kind of fun setting up the new cell phone today. I even used its camera and made an adorable wallpaper for it… though the wallpaper-making entailed some harsh reminders or where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing lately. I dropped off rolls of film today and am in the process of uploading about 144MB worth of digital media to Kodak’s online photo service. Hopefully, this service will print out images without the dreadful color cast of Snapfish’s service.
Other things to keep excited about for the long hot summer:
- The New Harry Potter
- The Bono in Conversation book
- The latest Seinfeld season on DVD
- Live 8
- Coldplay at the Tweeter
- Maybe dragging my carcass to the cinema soon
And ultimately, there’s October to look forward to, but it seems like such a long way off.
Disturbing news in the slowly growing evidence that our dear Bono isn’t doing as well as anyone fond of him could hope for. I wish I could fix it. He’s been thanking docs and nurses too much lately. Bless you, baby.
