Dear Apple,

I realise it may have been disabled for rights reasons but why disable the soft-techie way to download videos from iTunes? Why? It took some know-how. It wasn’t like you guys were rolling out the red carpet to ripping things off the web. Safari’s “Activity” menu isn’t as useful as it used to be, either. Why?
You should know where there’s a will, there’s always a way. Yeah, that picture’s from the Coldplay video for “Speed of Sound” courtesy of iTunes. A 50MB file is now on certain hard disks. My concern is that the world’s most innovative company whose CEO is notorious for his winking during key parts of the keynote speech when rights issues come into play, could knowingly do something like this. Don’t be corporate. Don’t disable more backdoors please.
