Day of Show
They’re in town. U2’s in town. At least their show trucks are. What do you do on a morning like this? Go down to the arena and see what you can see? People probably slept on the sidewalk in South Philly last night. People are insane. But I’m excited, even if I don’t know if I’m going yet or not. I have to try and buy a ticket today. It hadn’t even sunk in yet that I may be seeing THEM live tonight. Even if I don’t go they’ll be here… HERE in the city where I order pizza, work very long hours, hack XHTML and CSS, and pay rent. I’d go out and see what the city was like today if I could. But I can’t. I have to wait until my propective seller calls for the exchange. I wonder if he’s even up yet.
I know this is rambling, but I needed to capture the moment. I just recharged my digital camera’s batteries and with the flash card I have right now, I can take 64 pictures. Maybe I need another memory card. I had to capture this for posterity.
They say it’s going to be a humid, hot one in Philadelphia.
