The Administration’s Light Bulb
This was mailed to me from a friend. Thanks, P.
Note: For the befuddled, the light bulb in question is supposed to be out ie. not working.
Q: How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. There is nothing wrong with the light bulb; its condition is improving every day. Any reports of its lack of incandescence are illusional spin from the liberal media. Illuminating rooms is hard work. That light bulb has served honorably, and anything you say undermines the lighting effort. Why do you hate freedom?!?!?!?
This so-called “freedom” is becoming rarer and rarer in these parts, ironically by the measures being taken in its own name. Once again, another example of something good being used as a medal, a cheap excuse, to perpetrate something else. People never learn. As Aldous Huxley, the English essayist, said: “The one thing we can learn from history is that no one ever learns from it.” Or something to the effect. Details slip my mind.
