I forgot all about it being Mardi Gras yesterday (literally “Fat Tuesday” in French; mardi Tuesday, gras fat). I completely forgot, not like the rest of this city did anything to remember either. In the wake of a Super Bowl loss, people are jubilant and discouraged. Both at the same time.
